They say Love is not complete if there is no pain. In other words, if there no pain. True love cannot exist. Saints and Mystics say when we are separated from Our Beloved (In their case it is God) Pain of separation is such we don’t enjoy worldly things and every thing seems to be tasteless unless we become one with our Beloved.
